I’m always really interested to know what makeup products people use. There’s just so many kinds and so little time! Lately, I’ve been wearing really natural makeup — nothing too fancy or heavy. The products above are my daily, go-to routine.

Essie — Eternal Optimist — I bought this shade of Essie for our wedding, and I liked it so much I finished it up and bought another.
Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage – SC-1 — This concealer is ah-mazing.
Maybelline Falsies Mascara — I’m not really loyal to any mascara. I just get cheap drugstore stuff.
Dior Addict Lipstick — Miami — I also bought this lipstick for our wedding. It’s such a pretty shade!
Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation — Rose Ivory — This foundation provides great coverage and looks very natural. And, it lasts all day!
Ulta Eye Liner — Smoke — Like mascara, I’m not particularly loyal to any eye liner.
Laura Mercier Eye Shadow — Buttercream — Like I said, I’ve been wearing really natural makeup. This shadow just brightens my eyes a little bit.
Sonia Kashuk Creme Blush — Petal 01 — I love creme blush! It gives a really natural pop of color!

What’s in your makeup bag right now?

When I was little, I loved looking through my grandmas’ handbags. I’d inspect every lipstick, every (as they called it) rouge, and all the knickknacks. And I’ve gotta say, my interest in what other ladies carry around hasn’t waned. Today, I could waste away too much time watching “What’s in my bag?” videos. I’m fascinated to know what items other women consider to be the “the essentials.” Here’s what I’m currently carrying in my bag:

I’ve been using my American Apparel pouch as my daily bag. It’s not very big — but if I was carrying a bigger bag, this list would be a lot longer
The weather has been completely unpredictable lately. I never know if it’s going to be snowing (like it was on Sunday) or 70 degrees and sunny (like it was yesterday). So, I carry around my Modcloth winter headband, just in case.
My cat eye sunglasses! I love these sunglasses — they’re two-toned, with dark blue on the top and tortoise on the bottom.
I usually have little random hair clips and jewelry in my bag. When my hair’s in the way, I throw it up in that gold clip. And I got the ring when Chris and I went to Columbus for a Jonsi concert a while back.
I never have to buy my own little lotions for my purse because I always get them as bridal shower favors! I got this little lotion from the shower I went to this past weekend, and it smells so good. It’s called Charmed Life from Bath & Body Works.
I love my wallet.I got it a couple summers ago when I lived in Ocala, Florida. There was a local leather factory and outlet that sold discount Minnetonka moccasins and leather bags and wallets.
And last but not least, my C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries Cinnamint Lip Shine, Dior lipstick in Miami, and Burt’s Bees lip shimmer in cherry. These are my go-to lip products to achieve a perfect pout!
