It was hot as all get out this Memorial Day weekend, which is how it should be. It was perfect breezy dress weather, so I pulled out this gorgeous dress that La Redoute sent me (Check them out – they sell French-inspired clothes).

This is probably my new favorite dress because it combines everything I like in one soft, flowing, and comfortable number. It’s feminine and a little frilly, but I also think it has a 60s vibe. It’s so cool and comfortable for a really hot day! I also love its hi-low hem.

I wore this outfit on Saturday. We went to the park and we stopped at a tiny grocery store called Broccoli Bills where I had a tasty snack of macaroni salad and orange cream soda – YUM. There’s something so relaxing about a Saturday that’s part of a three-day weekend. You know there are still two full days of sweet freedom ahead of you, so you can just sit back and enjoy yourself!

So now, it’s  already Wednesday. I cannot believe it — but I’m not complainin’! We’re already mid-week, and another weekend is coming up fast.
