What I wore: Tasseled Cardigan C/O OASAP, Thrifted New York & Company Dress, Minnetonka Moccasins, Bag C/O OASAP, Vintage Bracelet
We enjoyed the first fall-like weekend of the year here in Indianapolis. The weather was gorgeous, cool, and sunny — the kind of weather that only comes around a few times a year. I swear, you could feel the whole city sigh in relief that it wasn’t another 90-degree weekend.
To take full advantage of the autumn-like day, Chris and I went to Tuttle Orchard on Saturday. Right now they have pick your own apples and sunflowers, so we got our apples for the week and I braved the swarms of bees to pick a couple sunflower stems. It was a pretty perfect way to enjoy the outdoors.
It only seemed appropriate to wear my new gold fringed sweater (you can’t tell from their site, but the sweater has fun shimmery threads running through it) and orange dress to match the fall-like weather.
We live just down the road from the orchard, so I’m confident we’ll be frequent visitors this fall!
