We’re forecasted to have an icy and cold Friday here in Indianapolis, which means I’ll be hiding inside and working all day. I don’t have much planned for the weekend, other than scouring Pinterest for house inspiration and getting back in the kitchen and baking some more! My macaron success from last weekend left me wanting to bake something else, like maybe these carrot cake whoopie pies.

Pretty flowers and I love the idea for the cuties. We just had 10 inches of snow and some ice. Be careful!
Oh my goodness! We just had a layer of ice. The sidewalks at our apartment are horrendous, but the roads were good enough to get into work this morning. (Not going to lie … I was hoping for a work-at-home day;)
Ice is always scary! I’m surprised they didn’t close your job down for the day. Maybe you’ll get to leave early.:)

Those flowers are lovely. I can never let myself bake anything at home when it’s snowy and miserable out because literally it’s like impossible to stop myself from eating a dinner of cookies/brownies/cupcakes.:P
