What I wore: Wildfox Couture Sweatshirt, Madewell Jeans, Jessica Simpson Boots, Handbag Heaven Bag

Where I wore it: The other weekend, I made GRAND plans for Chris and me. A local radio station was holding a free Phillip Phillips concert to raise money for the American Cancer  Society. I like concerts, I like Phillip Phillips, I like helping a good cause, and I like free, so we decided to go. The concert was being held at a restaurant/bar downtown, so we planned on arriving early, eating, and staying for the concert. We showed up a few hours early so that we would have time to eat, but upon arrival we saw a line already snaking around the side of the building. We went to the front of the line to see if we were allowed to eat without waiting in the line, and they said “yes,” but then after eating we would have to wait in the line (which they predicted would be 400 people long) to attend the concert.

Long story short, we skipped the concert and decided to go out to dinner instead. We ended up eating at a fantastic Italian restaurant where we had the most delicious pasta. We then went to Monument Circle, got hot cappuccinos, and sat outside and watched the traffic and horse carriages go around the circle.

We called it a night early and headed home to watch a movie. Even though our original plans fell through, it ended up being a wonderful date night. : )
