What I wore: Vintage plaid shirt (my mom’s), Madewell shorts, Minnetonka Moccasins

With the great outdoors trend, as well as the dip back to  ’90s fashion that we seem to be taking right now, plaid is back in a big way for fall. I couldn’t be happier about this because I have an awesome vintage plaid top that mom wore in the ’70s. Is there anything better than wearing soft, broken-in plaid on a brisk fall day?

I wore this outfit for a day of outdoor adventure during our trip. Mountain viewing, stream wading, trail hiking, and bear sighting were all enjoyed in the comfort of one cozy, plaid shirt.
