Now that we’re nearing the cold-weather months, I thought I’d uncover one of my favorite DIY projects from last year: my DIY Heart Jumper that’s inspired by Wildfox Couture. My DIY version has a pretty strong resemblance to the real deal, and it was so easy to make!
Making your own DIY version is as is as simple as 1,2,3!
To make the sweatshirt, all you have to do is stencil a heart onto a simple white sweatshirt (I used the Hanes special!). Then, mix red glitter (or whatever color your heart desires) with Mod Podge — a 50/50 ratio will do. Paint the sweatshirt with the glitter mixture (I did about two coats) until the heart is completely covered and no white shows from beneath. Let it dry — and voila!

So far so good! I don’t wear it really frequently, but I have washed it, and the glitter stayed on.
