I’ve always been interested in Edie Sedgwick’s story. I tore through her biography, Edie: An American Biography, a couple summers ago, and it’s now one of my favorite reads. Her story is very tragic and sad, but there’s also a very glamorous side to her. She was a 60s it-girl, Andy Warhol’s muse, a fashion icon, a Youth Quaker, and a Superstar.
I love looking at photos of Edie from when she was at her most beautiful — from her amazing brows and bold eye makeup to her signature tights and ballerina-esque poses. Black and white stripes and black tights always remind me of Edie, so this is my outfit inspired by her!

Love your outfit! Black and white is always a nice classy combination
. But I actually do not know a lot about Edie Sedgwick, so I go look up her life story, always ready to read some inspiring stories
.
All the facts aren’t right in the movie Factory Girl, but that’s a great place to start learning about Edie. It’s one of my favorite movies!
I looked it up! What a story..about her brother and her anorexia. It’s like her whole life was filled with drama. I go start with the movie, thanks
LOVE her! You look so chic
