Are you sick of Metamora photos yet? Sorry, but we took too many good ones to not share

What I wore: Ralph Lauren tank dress (thrifted), Sam Edelman sandals

Where I wore it: After a long day of walking and shopping (and fishing for Chris), what we really wanted was a nice and filling dinner. Because Metamora pretty much shuts down come 6oclock, we hopped in the car and drove a couple miles down the road to an old-fashioned, country-cooking restaurant. We downed some serious iced tea, mashed pototaoes, mac ‘n cheese, and cherry pie.

We walked off our food comas around Metamora.  By this time, it was pretty much a ghost town, which was perfect for taking photos. It was like having free reign of a movie set!

One of my favorite moments was when we were watching the horses, and the pretty palomino came over to say hi. When I was little, I really wanted a palomino named Strawberry. I was tickled pink.
