To all my American friends, happy Fourth of July! Are you donning your best star-spangled red, white, and blue for the festivities?
The Fourth is one of my favorite holidays. Its mid-summer date means poolside lounging, late night firework watching, and firefly catching. Growing up, a tradition in my family was to go to the Aurora, Indiana fireworks. Aurora may be one small Ohio River town, but they sure know how to put on a good show!
This year, Chris and I are looking forward to a day of R&R. We’re planning on putting some time in at the pool — either in the early morning or the late evening to avoid the sun and crowd! We also have all the fixings to have a Fourth-worthy picnic meal.
I wore this outfit last night to Carmel, Indiana’s Fourth of July festival where I had a refreshing strawberry Hawaiian snow.
I bought the blue dress three years ago for the Fourth of July. And I think I’ve worn it every year since! It’s from Forever 21, and my big bow headband is from Ban.do!
Do you have big holiday plans? Enjoy your day!
