We had a great weekend! We went to my parents’ house near Cincinnati to watch their new kitten, Bella, for the weekend. Bella is pretty much the cutest thing in the world. She’s spunky, adorable, and sweet! She took a particular liking to Chris, and didn’t leave his side the whole weekend.
Staying at my parents’ was like a little vacation for us. We got out of town, lounged around, and headed to downtown Cincinnati for dinner on Saturday (more on that later). We had plans to do something else around the area, but it was just too hot! Plus, we felt bad leaving little Bella alone.
I’m feeling optimistic going into this Fourth of July week. We’re looking forward to the midweek treat of having Wednesday off for the Fourth.

She’s actually my mom and dad’s cat! They got her at the Humane Society.
