I’m gearing up for a marathon of a weekend. Just thinking about it makes me feel ecstatic and exhausted all at the same time. I’m not sure it gets much more eventful than throwing a bachelorette party on Derby Day, which also happens to be Cinco de Mayo. That’s some sort of trifecta, right? The stars are totally aligning for these celebrations to land on the same day.
But this also means the pressure’s on. If I throw a flop-of-a-party, that means I not only ruined Vanessa’s bachelorette party, but I also ruined Derby Day and Cinco de Mayo. Oy!
Last night, I ran around like a crazy girl, making sure everything is packed and ready for the weekend. I packed what I’m calling my “party suitcase” — a BIG roller board full of of decorations, games, tulle, and lots of pink and gold. I’m like a traveling party rolling that bad boy around.
Are YOU celebrating Derby Day/Cinco de Mayo?
