After several days of not feeling so hot, I got my tush off the couch, turned off The Hills, and put on this casual little outfit. As I put it on, I couldn’t help but get excited for Valentine’s Day! I’m a total sap for the holiday, probably because it’s the day Christopher and I met! But I start thinking about things like what I’m going to wear, what we’re going to do, etc. way before the fact.

[heart scarf: Scarves Dot Net] [red shirt: Old Navy] [jeans: Gap] [booties: Modcloth]
The top I have on I’ve had for years, but I’ve never worn it. It’s an awkward length — too short to be worn with leggings or tights, but too long for jeans. I tried it out anyway, and I thought it ended up being pretty cute with some skinny jeans, my Modcloth booties, and my sweet heart scarf!

This heart scarf is one of my favorites. It’s a really pretty shade of green and has pink hearts all over. It’s also long and wide so it’s great for twisting and tying in fun ways!

I tied the scarf in a new way I discovered this past week! It’s a braided style that looks really fancy, but it’s actually unbelievably simple. I’m going to be working on a “how to tie it” project here in the next couple weeks!
I hope all you dears have had a lovely weekend!
Aw what an adorable little scarf!
