A little online boutique called Frockstock followed me on Twitter a while back, and as soon as I checked them out, I knew it was a match made in heaven. Frockstock sells adorable indie-style clothing at a price that college gals and 20-somethings can afford — need I say more?
I’ve been wanting a cape for a while, so I was excited about Frockstock’s Berry Patch Cape – and it didn’t disappoint when it arrived! It’s a heavy-knit sweater, so it’s perfect for cozying up in when it’s chilly outside. I wore it Saturday to run errands and to a dinner at our friends’ place.
I wore the cape over a white long-sleeved blouse and black leggings. I think next time I’ll wear it with skinny jeans — a slim-fitted pant is a must with a cape!
I had a hard time figuring out what to do with my arms at first. You can’t really put your arms straight down because of the placement of the arm holes. But, I got used to it quickly and as we ran errands I didn’t even think about it.
I felt like Little Red Riding Hood in the cape! (Sidenote: Red Riding Hood with Amanda Seyfried happened to be on TV when we got home from dinner. Gotta say, the movie’s 11% rating on Rotten Tomatoes is accurate.)
I hope everyone’s weekends have been lovely. T-minus one week until Christmas!
