I hope everyone had a nice weekend! I spent my weekend catching up with friends and family — and getting some Christmas shopping done!

Unfortunately, I’m fighting off a cold, so I spent most of the weekend cozied up in my favorite sweater. I wore it on Sunday to a friend’s birthday brunch.

I looked high and low for an affordable square-knit sweater that I liked, and I finally found this one at Macy’s. It’s from their Bar III brand.

I also wore my great grandma’s amber-colored glass bead necklace.

And I broke out a bag that’s several years old — sometimes reusing feels like having something new!

We went to Cafe Patachou for Maggie’s birthday brunch. It was my first time — and it was so good!

I got the hummus bagel — an everything bagel, feta cheese, tomato, cucumbers, greens, and hummus. And I took advantage of bottomless coffee, of course!

There’s the birthday girl on the right! And Sarah (yes, same name!) in the middle. I’m very lucky to have coworkers who have become close friends!
