Tis the season for hard cider!
I’m not a fruity drink or wine cooler kind of gal (G&T is my drink of choice), but I LOVEEEEE Crispin Hard Cider. And Crispin is the only hard cider I like!
Usually I get the Crispin Original, but Christoper and I went to Vine and Table, a gourmet food market and liquor store in Carmel, and they had the best selection of Crispin I’ve ever seen! I decided to branch out and try something new: The Jacket, a Crispin limited release. This cider is aged in Tennessee whiskey barrels (as a Kentucky girl, I died inside when I saw it was Tennessee whiskey, but oh well).

The cider is pretty delicious. It’s crisp and light, but there’s a subtle whiskey kick. The hints of vanilla can definitely be detected. This is a must drink for any hard cider and whiskey-loving person! But I must say, I’ll always be an original Crispin girl — it’s so, so good.
